Installed: Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School; October, 2015.
Initially, students were taken aback by Telephone Wires. However, after two months, students simply disregarded the strange obtrusion because they grew accustomed to it—just as students are often oblivious to the significance of diversity or lack thereof in school. Telephone Wire exemplifies that a foreign object in a new context is noticeable because it disrupts routine.
